About CSDogRetreat

My dogs really are my children.
When I'm away from home for any length of time, I tend to worry:)
My dogs have always had the run of my place – in essence I think they have me trained very well.  Don’t get me wrong, I believe in a dog being comfortable in a kennel at night or when you are away, but then they know that is their bed.

I believe a dog should not be stressed when the owners leave them for any length of time.  And it is for this reason I keep the number of dogs down to 8 additional at any given time, so they can all get the attention they deserve.

If however they are not well socialized with other dogs or can be a little timid, then I'll spend time with them in a separate space.
My yard has 2 large enclosed areas where the dogs can run & play – worry free for both the owners & the dogs.  There is an indoor area, which they can access through a doggie door, with a couch, chairs, a dog bed for resting.  I want it to be almost like they've never left home, for any dog I look after.
